Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Peninsula Hotels is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the development and execution of revenue‑driving strategies across all hotel channels. This senior leader will act as a brand guardian, spokesperson, and key member of the Executive Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement annual room, banquet and digital marketing plans targeting corporate, consortia, MICE and luxury partnership segments.
• Own revenue‑management, e‑commerce and distribution strategies to protect rate integrity and maximize room revenue.
• Direct brand marketing, PR and communications while ensuring all assets meet luxury standards.
• Maintain high‑level brand partnerships, industry contacts and media relationships to elevate hotel positioning.
• Collaborate with Division Heads to drive performance across Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness and ancillary services.
• Manage the Sales & Marketing budget, division P&L and provide regular commercial analytics to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop the Sales & Marketing team, overseeing succession planning and performance reviews.
• Participate in Executive Committee duties, crisis management and strategic project oversight.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership in Sales & Marketing within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strategic thinker with deep expertise in revenue management, luxury brand PR, digital marketing and distribution channels.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of budget management, P&L analysis and ROI generation.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching and team‑building capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking and crisis communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
