Electronic Hardware EMC Engineer

About the role

The Electronic Hardware EMC Engineer will assess electronic devices for electromagnetic compatibility, develop technical solutions, and support customers in the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assess electronic devices according to EMC aspects and develop solutions.
• Analyze circuit diagrams, PCB designs and mechanical layouts.
• Support the development of technical solutions and analyze customer EMC requirements.
• Create test plans and conduct EMC tests at external labs, then analyse the results.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in electronic hardware design or validation, including EMC.
• Fluent English (German a plus) and willingness to travel abroad.
• No pending military service obligations.
• Strong knowledge in at least three of the following: automotive electronics, analog circuit design, switch‑mode power supplies, embedded systems, hardware design, Spice simulation, schematic & PCB layout, automotive‑specific components, EMC analysis and testing.
