Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

Design next‑generation automotive inverters and DC‑DC converters, including schematics, simulations, thermal analysis, PCB layout and worst‑case analysis. Work on gate drivers for SiC/Si MOSFETs and IGBTs as well as various switch‑mode power supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review design documentation for product release, including specifications, schematics and bill of materials.
• Define hardware‑software and communication interfaces (CAN, LIN), perform circuit validation tests and support component sourcing.
• Support project and quality management activities and validate electronic components.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in power electronics hardware design.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.

Required skills

• Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
• Design of digital and analog circuits.
• Experience with gate drivers for SiC/Si MOSFETs and IGBTs.
• Knowledge of switch‑mode power supplies (Flyback, Buck, Boost, SEPIC).
• Familiarity with CAN and LIN communication interfaces.
