About the role
We are looking for a Junior Extrusion Operator to join our production line at Huhtamaki. The successful candidate will replace a colleague on the extrusion machine, helping to maintain continuous production of sustainable packaging that protects food, people and the planet.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor extrusion equipment to produce packaging materials.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in set‑up, change‑over and routine maintenance of the machine.
- Report any production issues promptly to minimise risk of production loss.
- Support the team in meeting daily production targets.
Required profile
- Junior‑level experience or willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality and sustainability.
- Ability to work on a shop floor in a fast‑paced setting.
