About the role

Sivas University of Science and Technology (SUST) is seeking highly motivated academics for Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor positions in Aeronautical & Space Engineering. The faculty will join a fast‑growing public university with a strategic focus on defense, aviation, and optics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in aeronautical, aerospace, and related engineering fields.
• Supervise master’s theses and doctoral dissertations.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in reputable journals and conferences.
• Secure external research funding from programs such as TÜBİTAK, COST, and Horizon Europe.
• Collaborate with national defense industries and international partner universities.
• Participate in university service, curriculum development, and academic committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Rocket/Propulsion Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with an aerospace focus, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong research interest in at least one of the following areas: aerodynamics & CFD, propulsion systems, space technologies, aircraft design, AI/data‑driven engineering for aerospace, or advanced experimental/computational methods.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students at the university level.
