Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

A leading company in the medical industry is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager. The role acts as a strategic finance business partner to commercial leaders and the management team, supporting business decisions with financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and year-end financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely management reports.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, including periodic revisions.
• Act as a strategic finance business partner to commercial leaders and management, providing financial insights.
• Conduct financial and commercial analyses, including sales trends, gross margin performance, promotional activities and profitability assessments.
• Prepare financial presentations and analytical reports for business reviews, budget meetings and actual vs. budget evaluations.
• Develop ad-hoc financial analyses and reports according to business and corporate needs.
• Manage bonus calculations and prepare related performance reports.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the General Manager and FP&A Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in FP&A.
• Experience in financial controlling, management reporting and financial performance analysis is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple priorities; highly organized, detail-oriented and accountable.
• Strong business partnering skills and high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of financial planning and reporting systems such as Hyperion, Anaplan or Oracle is an advantage.
