Financial Reporting & Audit Executive

About the role

The Financial Reporting & Audit Executive will be based at our Istanbul Yenibosna head office, leading the preparation and audit of IFRS‑compliant financial statements. You will work closely with external auditors and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate annual IFRS audit processes for standalone and consolidated statements.
• Ensure the reliability of financial statements, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with external auditors throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Evaluate and enhance financial and operational processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Contribute to accounting system development and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Support audit analytics, including data analysis, dashboard creation, and automated control scenarios.
• Analyze audit findings, highlight key risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Offer financial advisory support for internal projects and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with tax legislation, commercial regulations, and company policies.
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial reporting and analysis requests from management.
• Track IFRS updates and support their implementation across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, external audit or tax audit, including mandatory Big 4 audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards and auditing standards.
• Result‑oriented, proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI and other data‑visualisation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
