About the role

The Financial Controller will safeguard the hotel’s assets and financial resources, ensuring they are used efficiently to maximise operating results. Working closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee, you will provide timely, accurate financial information to support profitable hotel operations within legal and corporate guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual business plan together with the General Manager and Executive Committee.
• Conduct monthly P&L meetings and present accurate financial reports.
• Monitor and control revenues and expenses, providing recommendations as needed.
• Prepare and submit monthly forecasts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and cash‑position reviews.
• Maintain contracts, lease agreements, licenses, insurance policies and other legal/financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with Kempinski policies, the Management Agreement and local regulations.
• Mentor and develop finance staff, and act as the primary contact for auditors.
• Identify new business opportunities to enhance hotel performance.

Required profile

• BA/BSc in finance, accounting or related field, or CPA/ACA/ACCA, or MBA (Finance).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a financial controller, preferably in a 5‑star hotel chain.
• Fluent oral and written Turkish and English.
• Strong independent work ethic, ability to thrive under pressure and deliver proactive solutions.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
