About the role

The Financial Controller will safeguard the hotel’s assets and financial resources, ensuring they are used efficiently to maximise operating results. Working closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee, the role provides timely, accurate financial information to support profitable and compliant hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Kempinski policies, the Management Agreement, and all local and corporate guidelines.
• Develop the annual business plan together with the General Manager and Executive Committee.
• Conduct monthly P&L meetings and monitor revenues and expenses, providing recommendations as needed.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly forecasts and financial reports.
• Review cash positions, optimise fund usage, and oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain contracts, lease agreements, licences, insurance policies and other legal/financial documents.
• Foster relationships with owners, external partners and auditors, acting on audit recommendations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the hotel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a financial controller, preferably in a 5‑star hotel chain.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong independent work ethic, ability to thrive under pressure and deliver proactive solutions.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and delegation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
