Full Stack Developer (NestJS/TypeScript)

About the role

We build back‑ends for our own products and for clients, handling everything from architecture to production. As a Full Stack Developer you will own services end‑to‑end, from schema design and API contracts to deployment and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement services using NestJS and TypeScript, ensuring strict typing and clear error contracts.
• Model data, manage migrations, and maintain schema versioning during deployments.
• Containerize applications, deploy to cloud environments, monitor logs, and resolve issues in production.
• Extend functionality to the front‑end when needed, using Next.js and React.
• Write comprehensive documentation for future developers.
• Mentor Neon Academy interns during review sessions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of production backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data‑modeling skills.
• Hands‑on Docker experience, including multi‑stage builds and small images.
• Practical cloud deployment experience on GCP or AWS (depth in one is sufficient).
• Commitment to documenting work and reviewing code thoroughly.
