Full Stack Engineer (NestJS/TypeScript)

About the role

We build back‑ends for our own products and client projects, from architecture to production. As a Full Stack Engineer you will own services end‑to‑end, ensuring they are well‑designed, documented, and maintainable.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement services using NestJS and TypeScript, with strict typing and typed error contracts.
• Model data, create and manage migrations, and guarantee reversible deployments.
• Containerize, deploy, monitor logs, and resolve production issues independently.
• Extend functionality to the front‑end when needed using Next.js and React.
• Write clear documentation for future developers.
• Mentor Neon Academy interns during review sessions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of production backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data‑modeling skills.
• Hands‑on Docker experience, including multi‑stage builds and small images.
• Practical cloud deployment experience on GCP or AWS (depth in one is sufficient).
• Commitment to documenting work and explaining design decisions.
