Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

OBSS, Turkey's largest technology consultancy, is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to join its team and deliver end-to-end software solutions across diverse industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects with cross-functional teams, designing, developing and maintaining high-quality applications that solve real business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program documentation, including structure, behavior and interaction diagrams, flowcharts, test plans and conversion plans.
• Review and improve the development and coding of Java programs and systems.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm project and system objectives are met.
• Analyze and recommend new procedures or techniques to improve supported systems.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including vendors, clients and management.
• Lead medium-to-large technical teams to deliver high-quality code products.
• Integrate back-end web services via REST APIs and ensure smooth collaboration between front-end and back-end systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing web services and applications across diverse industries.
• Strong communication, analytical and teamwork skills, with a result-oriented mindset.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to use AI-powered tools in daily work.

Required skills

• Java, Spring Framework (MVC, Boot, Data), JPA, Hibernate and SQL.
• Front-end with React and/or Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• RESTful web services, JSON and XML; microservices experience is a plus.
• Docker and design patterns (MVVM, Repository, Unit of Work, IoC, Dependency Injection) highly desirable.
• AWS and general database management (preferably MSSQL and PostgreSQL) are a plus.
