Fullstack Engineer – Geospatial Applications

About the role

Calico Teknoloji is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications across its software stack. The role focuses on building real‑time map interfaces and robust data processing pipelines for high‑volume sensor data.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features and maintain existing software across the Calico Teknoloji stack.
• Translate engineering requirements into modern data processing pipelines and applications.
• Read ICDs from cross‑functional teams and turn them into functional software components.
• Deploy and orchestrate services using agile practices.
• Design and build responsive, real‑time map‑based interfaces for visualizing diverse sensor data.
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Python and Go.
• Proficiency with Django, REST APIs, and WebSockets.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and SQL/ORMs.
• Understanding of ETL processes, automated testing, and containerization (Docker).
• Solid knowledge of Linux, networking basics, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript) and mapping libraries such as MapLibre.
• Proficiency in React for building interactive user interfaces.
