Gateway Supervisor - Sunrise Export & Import Operations

About the role

UPS is hiring a Gateway Supervisor for its Sunrise export and import operations. The role supervises and coordinates daily operations so that exports and imports run smoothly and on time, leads and develops the team, and ensures compliance with company policies, customs regulations and security requirements. The position is listed as permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Sunrise export and import operations to ensure smooth and timely execution.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to reach operational targets and maintain high performance.
• Monitor daily performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, security requirements and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, airline partners and customs authorities to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure export and import shipments are handled and processed in line with service commitments.
• Monitor workload distribution, resource allocation and staffing to keep operations running.
• Identify process improvements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and prepare operational reports and improvement plans for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Aviation or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in air cargo, logistics or gateway operations.
• Proven leadership or supervisory roles.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
