Generalist Artist (UI/UX, 2D/3D & Animation)

About the role

Oz Games is building its founding team in Istanbul and seeks a Generalist Artist to shape the visual identity of its mobile casual and hybrid‑casual titles. You will work full‑time on‑site, collaborating closely with engineers and product leads to prototype, iterate and polish game visuals.

Key responsibilities

• Create clean, intuitive UI/UX flows and eye‑catching game interfaces.
• Model, texture, rig and animate 2D/3D assets optimized for mobile platforms.
• Produce fluid animations, visual effects and polish (juice) that enhance gameplay feel.
• Integrate art assets into Unity and test them in real‑world scenarios.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and help define the visual language of new games from prototype onward.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of experience as a Game Artist, UI/UX Designer or Generalist Artist in mobile gaming.
• Versatile craft skills with a portfolio that includes casual or hybrid‑casual titles.
• Ability to work fast, iterate quickly and adapt assets based on play‑test data.
• Passion for creating delightful, accessible games and a high‑ownership startup mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blender or Maya for 3D modeling and rigging.
• Strong Photoshop and Figma skills for 2D art and UI design.
• Experience using Unity UI/VFX tools for integration and visual effects.
