Government Affairs & Public Policy Manager (Turkish/English)

About the role

Google is seeking a senior Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact for complex policy issues in the Turkish‑English region. You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on project management to influence public policy that aligns with Google’s business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate policy campaigns, projects and initiatives across multiple product areas.
• Advise internal teams on local political dynamics and translate business needs into policy objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, legislators, regulators and third‑party stakeholders.
• Represent Google in executive‑level discussions and guide concurrent program timelines.
• Identify emerging policy trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in policy analysis, campaigns, or technology‑related public policy.
• Proven experience working within government, think tanks, public‑interest groups, or corporate public policy.
• Fluent communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• Strong decision‑making ability in high‑pressure environments.
