Hatchery Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

BioMar-Sagun, Turkey's advanced fish feed facility located in the Söke Organized Industrial Zone, is looking for a Hatchery Technical Sales Specialist. The role strengthens the company's position as a preferred feed supplier to aquaculture in the region, driving sales growth and helping achieve its goals. The candidate must be able to live in Muğla, Aydın or surrounding provinces.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and visit existing sea bass and sea bream hatcheries in the Aegean region to promote products and position them correctly.
• Monitor feed use, accompany customers through receiving, processing and reporting, and report market situations regularly to the Sales Department and BioMar's foreign units.
• Prepare feed orders for BioMar factories for the next season and manage feed stock.
• Support customers in choosing suitable products, explain technical specifications and advantages, and increase the tonnage of dealers, customers and manufacturers.
• Draft contracts and commercial proposals, negotiate terms and build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide technical field services and pre- and post-sales support, resolving issues and handling complaints.
• Carry out product promotion and publication activities, monitor sales, prepare market reports and collect feedback to improve offers and services.
• Work with marketing, manufacturing and product development teams and manage risk perception in hatcheries.

Required profile

• Graduate of Fisheries Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Biology or Animal Science, with at least 3 years of experience in sea bass, sea bream and meagre hatchery departments.
• Competent in live feed, juvenile, larvae, pre-rearing and adaptation departments.
• Class B driver's licence, active driving ability and no travel restrictions.
• Fluent English; able to use Microsoft Office at a good level.
• Strong communication, persuasion, planning and follow-up skills, and a proactive attitude.
• High-level competence in analytics and data processing.
• Male candidates must have completed or be exempt from military service.
