Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator ensures smooth communication between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams. You will manage room status updates, prioritize cleaning tasks and support daily operations in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status and identify discrepancies.
• Prioritize cleaning of vacant dirty rooms, rush rooms and rooms previously marked ‘Do Not Disturb’.
• Prepare and distribute room assignments to housekeeping staff.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the front desk.
• Maintain and update the list of ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms.
• Complete required housekeeping paperwork and adhere to company safety policies.
• Provide courteous guest interactions and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping or hotel experience.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
