IC Design Engineer - Digital Design

About the role

Analog Devices Automotive Business Unit, within its GMSL SerDes group, develops integrated circuits for automotive high-speed serial data communications used in next-generation safety and infotainment systems. As a digital design engineer you will join a global design team and work with cross-functional teams to design complex mixed-signal integrated circuits.

Key responsibilities

• Support the feasibility and definition of product requirements for high-speed data communication products with the Product Definer
• Perform RTL design of owned blocks using SystemVerilog
• Create and manage verification plans by understanding the top-level design and working with other design engineers
• Carry out block and top-level RTL and gate-level verification and regressions using SystemVerilog
• Support synthesis, STA, DFT and place-and-route supervision
• Run bench validation of owned functions
• Work with test engineers to help finalize their test programs toward product introduction
• Answer customer and application questions as needed

Required profile

• MSEE with specialization in IC Design (VLSI)
• At least 8+ years of experience in digital design
• Hands-on experience in digital design and verification tools and methodologies
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and teamwork skills

Required skills

• High-speed and low-power RTL design and verification using hardware description languages, preferably SystemVerilog
• Experience in synthesis, DFT and supervision of timing-driven place-and-route
• UVM verification background and experience in video/audio communication and processing is a plus
