In-House Lawyer (Turkey)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced In‑House Lawyer to join the legal team of our operations in Turkey. In this role you will manage all legal, corporate and compliance matters locally while coordinating closely with global management and international offices.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate operational and commercial contracts for various divisions.
• Support the global headquarters on Turkish projects and cross‑border matters.
• Manage labour law processes, provide HR legal advice, draft employment agreements and handle internal personnel issues.
• Represent the company in ordinary and arbitration courts and lead dispute resolution through negotiations and settlements.
• Represent company interests before local authorities, clients and suppliers.
• Supervise external counsel in pending litigation and coordinate with international offices.
• Draft corporate resolutions, oversee corporate governance, maintain statutory registers and business licences.
• Ensure comprehensive contract management and regulatory compliance, monitoring legal developments and advising stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and implement internal control systems and compliance policies.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to the bar.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a reputable law firm and as an in‑house lawyer.
• Proven experience providing commercial legal advice in an in‑house environment.
• Direct experience representing companies in litigation and managing dispute resolution.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
