Indirect Procurement Buyer

About the role

Motherson's Integrated Assemblies division, which leads in automotive innovation with premium module assembly and cockpit module integration, is looking for an experienced procurement professional to support indirect purchasing across European locations and contribute to strategic sourcing. The buyer manages indirect purchasing for assigned plants and aligns regional needs with global procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage indirect purchasing activities for assigned plants within the region
• Develop supplier strategies and identify synergies across plants and suppliers
• Drive cost reduction through negotiations, standardization and process improvements
• Align regional purchasing requirements with global procurement strategies
• Ensure implementation and compliance of corporate contracts
• Support new program launches and achieve purchasing targets on cost and timing
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure supply continuity
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve performance

Required profile

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in contract negotiation, supplier management and indirect procurement categories
• Understanding of commercial and legal aspects of procurement
• Advanced English communication skills
