Press Operator – Powder Metallurgy

About the role

GKN Sinter Istanbul, part of Dauch, is looking for a press operator to manage the pressing and forming processes of metal powders. The operator ensures that pre-pressed and sintered parts meet their dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate press machines so that calibrated parts are pressed to the required dimensions and shapes
• Check that produced parts comply with quality standards
• Monitor production processes, record measurement data and results in the GQS system
• Follow operational instructions, complete forms and report non-conformances to the supervisor
• Carry out regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine according to the control plan, preparing the press and production area for the next shift
• Perform daily, weekly and periodic maintenance of the equipment

Required profile

• High school or pre-university graduate; graduates of vocational and technical programmes preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in production preferred
• Team player who follows rules, able to work in shifts
• Experienced or willing to be trained, eager to learn and committed to long-term employment
• No military service for male candidates
