Indirect Purchasing Category Assistant – Smart Start (Components & Services)

About the role

Join Bosch in Bursa as an Indirect Purchasing Category Assistant on the Smart Start program. This internship offers hands‑on experience supporting the sourcing and demand management of machine components and services while contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Category, Sourcing and Demand Managers in purchasing activities for the Machine Components and Services sub‑category.
• Support CO₂ reduction initiatives with suppliers.
• Prepare and follow up on requests for quotations and tender processes.
• Contribute to special projects and cost‑saving activities, delivering measurable results.
• Help prepare and execute supplier negotiations.
• Resolve complex problems with permanent corrective measures.
• Coordinate operational tasks with internal customers and business partners.
• Maintain supplier information using digital tools.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Master student in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Public Relations or related fields.
• Fluent in English (excellent written and spoken).
• Available to work at least three days per week during the academic period.
• Commitment of at least 11 months (preferably 18 months) while studying.
• Residence in Bursa is mandatory.
• Strong coordination, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive, proactive personality with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
