About the role

As a Smart Start Digital Image Processing Engineer intern, you will develop and support image processing solutions for manufacturing processes and assist in implementing computer vision technologies in real‑world production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support image processing solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Assist in implementing computer vision solutions in real‑world production environments.
• Explore state‑of‑the‑art image processing methods based on academic studies.

• Gain hands‑on experience integrating software and hardware for industrial applications.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th‑year undergraduate or postgraduate student in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong interest or experience in image processing and manufacturing technologies.
• Experience in AI projects or model development.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable with self‑learning.

• OpenCV library.
• Image acquisition hardware (lenses, sensors, illumination systems).
