Production Planning Engineer

About the role

As a Production Planning Engineer you will support Bosch Group’s manufacturing operations by planning machinery, investments and technical processes. You will ensure production continuity, drive optimisation and lead digitalisation projects that improve safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan machinery and related investments.
• Technical planning of products and manufacturing processes such as turning, milling and grinding.
• Ensure continuity and optimisation of production lines.
• Lead improvement, digitalisation and automation projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, cost reduction and performance increase.
• Collaborate proactively with all departments to maintain production flow and implement improvement initiatives.
• Track and report key performance indicators within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Graduation in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Metallurgy Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Production knowledge and technical experience in machining is an advantage.
• Very good command of English; German is a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Eagerness to learn, detail‑oriented with analytical thinking and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication abilities.
