Indirect Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Indirect Purchasing Specialist will support our client in the chemical sector by managing all indirect procurement activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining quality and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute indirect purchasing in line with company targets and improve purchasing systems and processes.
• Manage the full indirect procurement cycle, covering both core business and services.
• Develop and implement cost‑reduction programs through vendor, material and contract reviews.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and research alternative sources to achieve cost efficiency.
• Lead tender processes, including master and frame agreement contracts.
• Monitor market conditions and develop sustainable, long‑term purchasing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect procurement.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking and negotiation abilities.
• Advanced level of English.
