Indoor Legal Counsel

About the role

Gravity Trade is seeking an Indoor Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for its international trading and logistics operations. The role will be based in Turkey and will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliant and commercially sound contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate international sales, purchase, distribution, supplier, procurement, logistics, warehousing, service agreements and NDAs.
• Analyse contractual exposure related to payment terms, liabilities, Incoterms, delivery obligations, penalties and commercial risks.
• Support corporate legal processes for the Turkey entity and group‑wide operations, coordinating with external legal advisors, notaries and authorities.
• Handle litigation and claims, including submitting claims against counterparties and responding to incoming claims.
• Promote and maintain the document management system, ensuring proper e‑document flow.

Required profile

• Legal education obtained in Turkey or from an internationally recognised university.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and strong Russian language skills (advantage).
• Experience in international trading, logistics and cross‑border commercial contracts.
• Hands‑on experience with IT system implementations such as ERP, CRM, contract‑management or e‑document automation.
• Business‑oriented mindset capable of identifying risks and proposing practical solutions.
• Preferred knowledge of Incoterms, basic customs and logistics processes.
• Experience coordinating with external legal advisors across different jurisdictions.
