Internal Audit Director

About the role

The Internal Audit Director will lead Digiturk’s internal audit function, providing independent assurance over all operations, transactions and processes. Reporting directly to Group Internal Audit and senior leadership, the role ensures compliance with global internal audit standards and drives risk‑focused audit planning.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the company’s operations, transactions and processes and report results to Group Internal Audit and the Board.
• Develop and execute risk‑focused audit plans across the organization.
• Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Assess compliance with corporate governance principles and ethical standards.
• Evaluate risk‑management processes and recommend improvements.
• Perform financial analyses, identify cost‑saving opportunities and enhance productivity.
• Provide consultancy services and conduct special‑purpose studies.
• Promote the highest standards of ethics, independence and confidentiality within the audit function.
• Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) aligned with IIA standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in managerial positions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional certification such as CIA (preferred), CPA, CFA, CISA or CMA.
• In‑depth knowledge of IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and accounting principles.
• Experience in media, broadcasting, pay‑TV, telecommunications or technology‑driven businesses is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage matrix‑type organizations.
• High integrity, professional ethics and independent judgment.
