IT Information Security Specialist

About the role

The IT Information Security Specialist will protect Nobel’s information assets, systems, and infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Information Security and Governance Executive, you will lead cybersecurity, governance, risk, compliance, and security‑operations initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure IT processes align with corporate policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve information‑security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor and assess the security posture of systems, applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure.
• Manage security logging, onboard log sources, and define SIEM use cases and correlation rules.
• Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) and user‑access control processes.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, analyze findings, and track remediation.
• Lead cyber‑threat‑intelligence activities and support proactive threat detection.
• Participate in risk assessments and enterprise‑wide risk‑management activities.
• Drive security‑awareness and cybersecurity‑culture initiatives.
• Support ISO 27001 ISMS, internal/external audits, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Contribute to IT governance, compliance processes, and business‑continuity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT auditing, risk management, or IT governance.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Log Management and SIEM.
• Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Knowledge of personal‑data regulations (KVKK, GDPR).
• Firewalls, Antivirus, IPS, IDS, Email Security Gateway.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ITIL, COBIT certifications (preferred).
