IT Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior IT Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to design, operate and harden our on‑premise and hybrid infrastructure. The role covers the full lifecycle of networking, secure remote access, Linux servers, storage, backups, observability and artifact distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain MikroTik and Cisco routers, L3 switches and VPN solutions such as WireGuard.
• Own firewall policy design, rule lifecycle, NAT, segmentation and logging across edge and internal networks.
• Design VLANs, routing, ACLs and secure access patterns (SSH bastion, RDP gateways).
• Administer Linux servers: provisioning, patching, package management, service supervision and log handling.
• Manage storage hardware, RAID configurations, IPMI out‑of‑band access and capacity planning.
• Operate databases with high‑availability and disaster‑recovery strategies, including backups, restores and failover playbooks.
• Implement and maintain Nginx reverse proxy/load balancing, TLS/SSL certificates and mTLS where required.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs, set up alerting, respond to incidents and produce post‑mortems.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in systems administration and DevOps within on‑premise or hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and secure remote access.
• Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks and enforce security baselines.
