Java Software Architect – Credit Card Domain

About the role

OBSS is seeking an experienced Java Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of credit‑card solutions for enterprise banking customers. You will shape the technical direction of large‑scale, high‑volume systems while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of end‑to‑end credit‑card systems and related banking processes.
• Provide deep domain expertise in issuing, acquiring, authorization, clearing, settlement, limit management and dispute management.
• Design scalable, reliable architectures using Java or Microsoft technology stacks.
• Translate business requirements into robust architectural solutions.
• Offer strategic guidance and industry best practices to customers.
• Ensure architectural consistency, technical quality and long‑term sustainability.
• Support project teams with architecture reviews and solution design.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations for credit‑card platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the credit‑card domain within banking or financial services.
• Hands‑on experience across the full credit‑card lifecycle.
• Strong background in enterprise software architecture and large‑scale system design.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
