Junior Architect

About the role

FTG Development is seeking a Junior Architect to join its Design & Development team in Istanbul. You will work alongside senior architects and project leads, supporting mixed‑use, residential and hospitality projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate architectural drawings, layouts and design documentation across all project stages.
• Review consultant and contractor submittals for compliance with brief, standards and regulations.
• Produce area schedules, unit‑mix studies, efficiency calculations and comparative design options.
• Assist in coordination between architecture, interior design, MEP, structural and landscape disciplines.
• Maintain drawing registers, document control and design change records.
• Attend design meetings and site visits, record minutes and follow up on actions.
• Support permit and approval processes by compiling required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's a plus).
• 1–3 years of experience in an architectural practice, developer or contractor environment; strong graduates with internships are also considered.
• Solid understanding of design principles, building codes and construction detailing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in Turkey.
