Junior System & Cloud Engineer

About the role

Token Financial Technologies, a fintech company within Koç Holding and partner of Beko, is looking for a Junior System & Cloud Engineer. The role works cross-functionally to help businesses adopt Token products as quickly as possible, supporting the availability, performance and reliability of services and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Work with experienced colleagues to investigate and resolve service and infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring and operational improvements.
• Take part in running and improving containerized and cloud/on-premise environments.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, networking, monitoring, logging and CI/CD.
• Participate in performance analysis, capacity planning and service improvement.
• Join periodic on-call duty with support and guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, system design, DevOps, SRE or a related field.
• Good English communication skills and a customer and business-oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Basic Linux knowledge and interest in container technologies and Kubernetes (hands-on experience is a plus).
• Basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN/WAN, firewall, load balancing and VPN.
• Plus: CI/CD tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD or Kubernetes manifests; monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, QRadar or Zabbix; cloud and on-premise infrastructure; IT service management and information security concepts such as PCI DSS, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001.
