Key Account Manager – Food Ingredients & Bakery Solutions

About the role

Puratos is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive growth of its food ingredients and bakery solutions portfolio in Turkey. You will build strategic partnerships, uncover new business opportunities, and deliver sustainable value for both customers and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term commercial strategy for the assigned customer channel.
• Build trusted partnerships with key customers, co‑creating value‑added solutions.
• Achieve sales targets for volume, turnover and gross margin while improving profitability.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Lead strategic customer projects from opportunity identification to implementation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Technical Advisors, Operations and Business Units to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer developments and competitive activities to inform business decisions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and ensure best‑practice sales execution.
• Act as an ambassador for Puratos’ purpose, innovation, sustainability and customer‑centric culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field (MBA or Master’s is a plus).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive Key Account Management experience in a multinational food‑ingredients or bakery environment.
• Proven track record of developing strategic customer partnerships and delivering commercial results.
• Strong business acumen with ability to analyse markets and translate insights into growth strategies.
• Passion for food innovation, sustainability and social responsibility.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Turkey and internationally as required.
