Key Account Sales Executive - International Automotive

About the role

The company is looking for a Key Account Sales Executive to drive international business development, expand its global market presence and manage key strategic customer accounts. The role combines market expansion with proactive account management to grow the customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new commercial opportunities, penetrate target markets and execute growth strategies to expand the customer base.
• Nurture and deepen relationships with key customers to maintain long-term partnerships and increase sales volume.
• Achieve and exceed predefined sales performance targets.
• Conduct market research, track competitor activity and adjust commercial tactics accordingly.
• Prepare commercial proposals, lead contract negotiations and close deals.
• Facilitate technical specifications, product requests and commercial requirements between customers and internal teams.
• Perform regular sales forecasting, pipeline monitoring and performance reporting.
• Manage the end-to-end RFQ process and track orders from quote to delivery.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of sales or business development experience in the automotive sector, with a strong focus on export and international markets.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth, business development and key account management.
• Professional English (written and spoken) is mandatory; a second language is a plus.
• Residence on the Asian side of Istanbul (Anadolu Yakası) is required.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP and CRM software or equivalent sales tracking tools.
• Ability to use AI tools and digital technologies to support daily workflows and sales processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
