Lead Engineer – Process (Plastic)

About the role

Beko is seeking a Lead Engineer – Process (Plastic) for its washing machine factory in Manisa. The role focuses on managing plastic injection part production, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and report KPIs for suppliers of plastic injection parts, covering production efficiency and part quality.
• Conduct process capability and statistical control analyses.
• Prepare technical specifications for moulds and related equipment.
• Oversee mould design approvals, trials (T1 to T-final), adjustments, and first sample approvals.
• Support designers with producibility of plastic parts and implement continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in plastic production processes.
• Strong knowledge of plastic raw materials (PP, ABS, PC, PA, POM, etc.) and injection technology.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Required skills

• Plastic injection process and machine expertise.
• Process capability and statistical control analysis.
• Technical specification writing for moulds.
• Mould design approval and trial management.
• 3D modelling (UG NX, AutoCAD) and mould flow analysis.
• Use of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
