Lead Game Developer – Woodturning

About the role

Voodoo is expanding its studio to refresh and expand the popular Woodturning game. As Lead Game Developer you will drive the technical vision, code innovative features and guide a remote engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Hands‑on coding of gameplay features used by millions of players.
• Plan and evolve client technology to match product, design and art needs.
• Manage the development cycle, define engineering tasks and processes.
• Partner with the General Manager on team structure, recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure high coding standards, long‑term quality and fast development pace.
• Monitor product health, work with central teams to improve quality and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Creative, hacker mindset with strong sense of gameplay experience.
• At least 5 years of professional Unity experience.
• Proven technical leadership in top‑tier mobile games.
• Familiarity with optimization challenges and AI‑supported development.
• Comfortable working fully remote.
