Legal Counsel

About the role

Beymen Group, a leading luxury fashion retailer in Turkey, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its domestic and international operations. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice across a range of commercial activities and ensuring compliance with Turkish and international law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate a wide variety of agreements in Turkish and English, including distribution, supply, procurement, marketing, advertising, sponsorship, licensing and e‑commerce contracts.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support for retail and e‑commerce activities, including commercial lease and real‑estate matters related to store operations.
• Assess legal risks alongside commercial priorities and deliver practical, solution‑oriented advice.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand operational needs and support strategic initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and matter management in line with corporate standards.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to the Istanbul Bar Association.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm serving corporate clients.
• Preferable experience in retail, fashion, luxury goods or e‑commerce sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Law, Employment Law, Consumer Law, Advertising Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
