Legal Counsel

About the role

Rönesans Holding, founded in 1993, is a main contractor and investor active in construction, real estate, energy, industrial facilities and healthcare across Türkiye, Europe, Central Asia and Africa. It is looking for a Legal Counsel to prepare, review and negotiate legal documents for FIDIC contracts of $1 billion and above, advise on all company legal processes and support domestic and international tenders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and negotiate legal documents for FIDIC contracts of $1 billion and above (main contract, subcontract, procurement).
• Provide legal consultancy on all company legal processes.
• Support domestic and international tender processes.
• Manage lawsuits and enforcement proceedings and coordinate with domestic and international law firms.
• Monitor legal regulations and industry developments and inform management.
• Develop proactive legal strategies to prevent risks in labor law, commercial law and the law of obligations.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• At least 15 years of professional experience, preferably in construction, energy or large-scale project sectors.
• Fluent English, essential for daily business and contract negotiations; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and take on assignments abroad (e.g. Africa, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan).

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction contract types and tender regulations.
• Experience in commercial law, obligations law and labor law.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Analytical thinking, negotiation and communication skills.
