Legal Trainee – Banking, Finance & Capital Markets

About the role

The Legal Trainee will rotate across three core teams – Banking, Finance & Capital Markets (including Crypto Assets), Litigation, and Corporate & M&A – gaining hands‑on experience in IPOs, derivatives, fintech, commercial disputes and mergers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets team with IPOs, establishment processes, derivatives and crypto‑asset matters for fintech, brokerage and asset‑management clients.
• Support the Litigation team on capital‑markets and crypto‑asset disputes, commercial conflicts and white‑collar crime cases.
• Work with the Corporate & M&A team on day‑to‑day commercial activities, restructurings, public and private M&A transactions, and related regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Graduate of a reputable law school with top academic performance or demonstrable strong legal fundamentals.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Motivated to develop into a highly skilled lawyer in the specialised practice areas.

Required skills

• Strong basic legal research and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work on complex financial and corporate law matters.
