Line Lead – Production

About the role

The Line Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of assigned production lines, driving safety, quality and output targets while developing team capability. Working standard hours Monday‑Friday, the role may require occasional call‑ins or shift coverage to support business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the organization through the IWS Phase Journey.
• Conduct Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and ensure delivery of safety, quality and production targets.
• Improve OEE and MTBF, eliminating losses through structured problem‑solving.
• Own defect handling, CIL and IE DMS processes, ensuring sustainability.
• Provide hands‑on coaching on the 8 RTT DMSs.
• Develop and execute Line Master Plans and 90‑day action plans.
• Review Line Master Plans and results on a monthly basis.
• Coach team leaders and frontline staff on the shop‑floor.
• Perform weekly Health Checks, identify gaps and implement countermeasures.
• Participate actively in IWS pillars.
• Optimize production plans with the Planning Department.
• Manage leave and performance of direct reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 7 years of lean manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Experience managing a team of 20‑30 people.
• Strong understanding of resource (people and cost) management.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety and quality.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

• MS Office (advanced).
• Power BI (advanced).
• Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why and Fishbone diagram techniques.
• Lean manufacturing methodologies.
