Logistics Associate – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Associate to support our global pharmaceutical client’s local manufacturing operations in Istanbul. The role combines supply‑chain coordination, procurement, and stakeholder management to ensure seamless production and delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate local manufacturing activities, including CMO, repackaging, and relabeling operations.
• Manage purchasing of raw materials, APIs, and packaging supplies, and oversee purchase order and invoicing processes with vendors.
• Track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, local manufacturers, and logistics service providers, escalating issues to the Cluster Logistics Leader as needed.
• Monitor financial performance of logistics activities and participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at cost reduction and supply‑chain efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply or logistics management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and teamwork abilities in a complex international environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
