Logistics Director – Power Plant Projects

About the role

The Logistics Director will lead end‑to‑end logistics operations for power plant construction and energy infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of equipment and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project cargo logistics, including transportation of oversized, heavy‑lift and out‑of‑gauge equipment.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies covering international freight forwarding, multimodal transport, customs clearance, port operations and inland transportation.
• Manage logistics planning and execution of critical power plant components, ensuring compliance with schedules, technical requirements and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, health and safety, and transportation regulations across operational countries.
• Lead and develop the logistics team, set performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of logistics experience, at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience in the energy, power generation, EPC or large‑scale infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record managing project cargo logistics for oversized and heavy‑lift shipments.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
