Logistics Manager - International Pharmaceutical Supply Chain

About the role

The Logistics Manager coordinates logistical and administrative activities between customers, distribution centers, internal and external manufacturing sites and logistics partners. The role ensures product availability, efficient order management and compliance with quality, financial and regulatory requirements in an international pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to invoicing, issue invoices and shipping documentation, and maintain high customer service levels and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor system performance and inventory levels across European distribution centers and act as the main contact with customers, distribution centers, manufacturing sites and external partners.
• Coordinate transportation between manufacturing sites, third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and customers, and support import/export operations.
• Handle product returns, repackaging and associated costs, and take part in monthly inventory reviews with logistics providers and CMOs.
• Process supplier invoices, investigate pricing discrepancies and payment requests, provide documents for financial audits and meet monthly and year-end closing deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and keep supply chain data accurate and reliable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an international supply chain environment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of international distribution, import/export and management of 3PLs, freight forwarders and subcontractors.
• Fluent English.
