Machining Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Machining Operator to join our machining department, performing both CNC and conventional machining tasks on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform material removal operations on CNC or conventional machines (turning, grinding, cylindrical grinding, deburring, etc.).
• Produce parts according to work orders and technical drawings, set up machines, change tools, and conduct daily machine maintenance.
• Measure produced parts using micrometers, comparators, dial gauges, calipers and record results.
• Identify non‑conforming parts, report to the foreman, and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Log daily production counts, downtime, and quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Graduated from a vocational high school or higher.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar machining position.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Resides in or can relocate to Istanbul European side.
• Male candidates must be exempt from military service.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation and programming.
• Conventional machine setup and tool changing.
• Use of measurement instruments: micrometer, comparator, dial gauge, caliper.
• Basic machine maintenance (oil level, air pressure, cleaning).
