Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and maintain robust, cost‑efficient manufacturing processes that support business goals and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor lean manufacturing processes, product structures, and workplace layouts.
• Drive value‑chain improvements, including equipment selection, plant layout, human‑machine interfaces, and product quality and cost.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards (ZISC, MESH) and legal regulations.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives and digital factory applications within the plant.
• Lead root‑cause corrective actions using Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) and Eaton Quality System (EQS) tools.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis (MSA) to reduce process variation.
• Participate in capital appropriation requests, equipment specification, concurrent engineering, design‑for‑manufacturing, and new product development projects.
• Act as the manufacturing liaison from product inception through customer shipment, managing SAP master data, BOMs, and change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, root‑cause analysis, and value‑stream mapping.
