Marketing Manager

About the role

Marriott Hotels is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager for the İzmir Marriott Hotel to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that boost brand awareness, guest engagement, and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the annual marketing plan aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
• Plan, execute and evaluate integrated marketing, digital media, public relations and communication campaigns.
• Oversee digital presence, including social media, website content and digital marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate promotional activities, press releases, media visits, events, sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, agencies and local businesses.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage and other departments to align marketing with commercial strategy.
• Manage the marketing budget, monitor performance against KPIs and prepare regular reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven ability to develop marketing strategies, manage campaigns and coordinate events.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management and content planning.
