Material Analyst

About the role

A manufacturing team in Izmir is looking for a Material Analyst to help ensure the timely availability of materials that support efficient production and supply chain operations. The role works closely with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Inventory Management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, production and inventory teams to keep the flow of materials smooth.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.
• Work with suppliers to procure materials in line with production demands and coordinate deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Support production planning and scheduling when required, and identify and help resolve material shortages and supply chain disruptions.
• Analyze material requirements and inventory data, track supplier deliveries and proactively address potential supply risks.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and planning systems and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in materials planning, supply chain, inventory management, procurement, manufacturing or related operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good organization and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
