Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in designing and integrating mechanical components and wiring for electronic systems, particularly in defense‑related projects. The role involves creating robust, compliant designs that meet military standards and environmental resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and wiring details for complex systems.
• Apply fundamental mechanical design and manufacturing techniques efficiently.
• Select appropriate materials based on component requirements.
• Create mechanical interfaces for electrical/electronic units, ensuring compliance with military standards.
• Utilize parametric 3D CAD modeling, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Perform structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses to guarantee reliability.
• Develop wiring modules in CAD and adhere to IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and IPC J‑STD‑001 standards.
• Build and manage product trees, produce detailed manufacturing drawings, and coordinate with production teams.
• Continuously improve mechanical and wiring designs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Turkish citizenship.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Parametric 3D CAD design (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo).
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis.
• Structural, dynamic, and thermal analysis.
• Wiring design and module integration in CAD.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and IPC J‑STD‑001 standards.
• Product tree creation and management.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
