Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading high‑tech entertainment company that creates motion platforms, virtual‑reality experiences and interactive attractions. The role involves developing new products and improving existing ones, working closely with sales, manufacturing and global project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product development projects, from concept through detailed design and production.
• Optimize part designs for quality, cost, dimensional accuracy and functionality.
• Provide technical support to the sales department for international opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility and custom‑design studies to meet specific client requirements.
• Improve internal processes and workflows.
• Plan and execute mechanical/structural testing, validation and documentation.
• Prepare production drawings, assembly guides and integration documents.
• Assess manufacturability, monitor production and resolve non‑conformities.
• Use ERP project‑management tools for cost analysis and reporting.
• Present technical topics in English at international meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical and sheet‑metal design.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards, materials, electrical systems, automation and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Siemens NX (advanced proficiency).
• SOLIDWORKS (high proficiency).
• AutoCAD.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation tools such as ADAMS and ANSYS (preferred).
